Team Trump Keeps Winning Case after Case in Federal Court

More wins came last week, including the rebuke of one of the most notorious anti-Trump judges in the DC District

I wrote previously about the out of control federal judiciary and the measures Congress and higher federal courts could take to rein in the activist judges. One of those remedies was for the United States Supreme Court to disallow the use of Nationwide Injunctions. SCOTUS ruled against the use of Nationwide Injunctions under the Judiciary Act of 1789, as I wrote about here (though, the High Court left the door open to the abuse of the Nationwide Injunction under other authorities, such as “class action” relief). In the meantime, the Trump Administration just keeps winning one case after another. Here are a few of the important wins from last week alone.

DC District Judge Boasberg’s Contempt Ruling Gets Scrapped

Judge James Boasberg is currently the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia (commonly referred to as the “D.C. District.”). Judge Boasberg was nominated to the federal judiciary by former President Barack Obama and has a concerning history on the bench, including rubber stamping bogus FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrants against Trump during the Russia Collusion Hoax, then sentencing the lawyer who pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence submitted to the FISA Court in order to get surveillance on former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page to probation without one day of jail time, while sentencing non-violent J6 defendants to months in jail on misdemeanors.
